Elaine joined the U3A dressmaking and patchwork groups on retirement and was a very enthusiastic member of all the groups. She was a great favourite with everyone and will be very much missed. Her unique style and colour choices became well know and we will all miss helping with the fabric choices and the unveiling of her latest projects. I'm sure that the lucky recipients of these will treasure them. She was always keen to go to Malvern and other shows to increase 'the stash' and when she was unable to make it we were sent with a list with telephone backup on the day. As a friend I will miss her greatly but have wonderful memories of our times together. Barbara O'Brien
